I’m McKenna, a fantasy writer and daydreamer who has always been drawn to creating. I grew up making up worlds, writing little stories, and even creating movies, which eventually led me to study film in college before changing paths and earning my bachelor’s in Exercise Science.

For a while, writing became something I had left behind. Somewhere along the way, though, I found my way back to it and realized the dream had never really gone anywhere.

Now, I spend most of my time dreaming up portal worlds, dangerous quests, complicated characters, and just enough romance to make things interesting. I love all things fantasy, whether I’m reading it, writing it, or disappearing into a video game for far too many hours.

When I’m not writing, you can usually find me listening to classical music, wandering somewhere outdoors, or hanging out with my two cats, Pip and Paris.

I’m currently working on my debut YA fantasy, a story of ten realms, one underestimated warrior, and a mysterious guide with far too many secrets.
