Long Time No Seeee!

Long time no seeee, friends!

I have emerged from my editing cave with updates. Important ones. Semi-coherent ones. Exciting ones!

First of all… the book is coming along! Slow and steady. Like a determined little turtle. Edits are DONE. Finished. Completed. I survived. And now proofing is officially underway. YAY! That feels illegal to say out loud!

Next up is the part I’m both wildly excited and slightly terrified about.

AND THE TITLE.

I am so excited for this part. Also slightly panicking. I have approximately twelve thousand title ideas. Some are poetic. Some are dramatic. Some sound brilliant at midnight and absolutely questionable the next morning. So we shall see what wins.

Choosing a title feels like naming a child. Except the child is a fantasy book :)

Meanwhile, my brain has decided rest is not an option. I’ve been working on new writing things. (Plural) Because apparently one project is never enough. My creative… energy… is flowing.

Ideas are flying everywhere. Random scenes. New characters. Plot twists appearing while I’m trying to do normal human activities. It is a whirlwind.

Things are moving at a slower pace right now, but honestly? I kind of like it. It gives me space to work on other secret projects. Very hush hush. Very “you’ll find out later.”

Next time I pop in here, hopefully I’ll have a title decision locked in! No promises. But we are manifesting!
